Obama: Obama ‘is a leader’ who ‘gets things done’

MSNBC’s Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough is taking shots at President Barack Obama for his record on immigration and for the country’s economy, calling the president a “leader” who “gets things accomplished” while making a “good point.”

Scarborough also said that the president should get a job.

“I think it’s just ridiculous that President Obama is going on about the economy right now and his record, that’s the real point,” Scarborough said.

“We are going to win again. “

He gets things accomplished because he’s a leader,” Scarborough added.

“We are going to win again.

And so I think it would be really good if the president would give us a job.”

Obama said on Thursday that he was “a leader” and “a champion of working families” and that he wants to “keep people from going hungry.”

Scarborough said Obama was “just pandering to his base” to “sensationalize” the issue of illegal immigration and to “distract from” the real issues facing Americans.

“This is a very good thing for the president to be pandering.

He’s a very, very good president, Joe,” Scarborough continued.

Scarborough and other commentators said Obama has been “a disaster” on immigration, and he’s not doing enough to get the country “under control.””

So, that just distracts from the real issue.”
