Here are the highlights: FIFA World Championships 2018 (Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, France) will be played in the Netherlands on June 10, 2019 and in Germany on July 6, 2019.
The games will be hosted by FIFA and UEFA, and the winner of the World Cup will be crowned on June 11, 2019, and will be awarded the 2022 FIFA World Player of the Year Award.

The 2018 World Cup was played from August 5 to September 3, 2018 in a six-nation group stage, with South Africa taking first place in the group and the United States second.
This was the first World Cup held in the South American country of Brazil since the 1994 World Cup in Russia.
The U.S. was also the first team to play at the 2019 World Cup.
FIFA’s World Cup 2020 schedule will be released in October 2020.
