When Facebook and LinkedIn bought each other, there was one thing left to say, but not enough: Facebook and Instagram are now the two biggest social media companies, writes Mark Pincus

Share This Article Facebook has finally launched its new social media platform, Instagram, with more than half a billion users.

The company also announced the acquisition of Instagram-owned Snapchat.

The acquisition brings Instagram’s total number of users to more than 6.7 billion, making it the second-largest social media company in the world behind Twitter.

In a statement, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the acquisition was an important step in bringing more people to Instagram, where more than 30 million people already use the service.

Facebook’s move comes after Instagram announced in August it was adding more than 40 million new users in the last 12 months.

Facebook is also adding a variety of new features and tools for users, including the ability to easily share images and videos to Instagram.

Facebook recently launched a new feature for people who are worried about privacy: Privacy Mode, which allows users to opt out of seeing their photos or videos from the platform, but is not currently available for all people.

Users can opt out by going to Settings > Privacy > Settings, or by clicking the “I Accept” button in the top-right corner of the page.

Facebook says the new privacy settings are now available in the Settings menu.

Instagram users can also use the app to send their friends, family and pets a photo of themselves and their dog.

Facebook also said that it would create a new Facebook Messenger for people living abroad who are interested in joining the service, which will be powered by WhatsApp.

Facebook said that users who sign up for the new Messenger will be able to access messaging services such as Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Messenger Desktop, and WhatsApp Desktop for Business.

Zuckerberg has also announced that the company has also acquired the rights to the Facebook app on iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Windows 10.
